Pa Obuah was a man of character - Amb Akawor
The death of an octogenarian Pa Bethel Obuah, has been described as a great loss to the people of Orashi and the entire Rivers State.
Ambassador Akawor said this recently when the Management and Staff of Greater Port Harcourt City Development Authority (GPHCDA) paid a condolence visit to the Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party, Rivers State, Hon. Felix Obuah, on the death of his father.
The Administrator further described the late Pa Bethel Obuah as a man of character whose love for unity and development of Rivers State knows no bounds; adding that he departed at a time when his fatherly advice is mostly needed.
“The Authority shares the grief of your entire family in this trying moment; as an organization, we encourage you to take solace in God Almighty who provides the needed strength to bear this great loss” Ambassador Akawor added.
Responding, both sons of the deceased, Hon. Felix and Engr. Cyril Obuah who spoke in turns, emphasized that it was indeed a trying moment for the family as the death of their father had created a very big vacuum that would be very difficult to fill; stating that their father would always be remembered for the good values he cherished.
The PDP Chairman thanked the Management and staff of GPHCDA for the solidarity adding that his late father lived a fulfilled live.
