GPHCDA PARTNERS INVESTORS TO BUILD AUTOMOBILE CENTRE IN PORT HARCOURT 1st August, 2016
The race to make Rivers State a destination for serious investors has begun. Greater Port Harcourt City Development Authority has partnered with Sparts Limited to build an international automobile centre at kilometre 17, on Port Harcourt-Aba Expressway. The ground breaking ceremony takes place August 1st, 2015.
Governor Nyesom Wike’s determination to make the state an industrial hub within a short possible time remains the priority of the Authority. Board Chairman, F.N. Alabraba and the Administrator, Desmond Akawor have vowed for the speedy construction and completion of the Automobile Centre.
Ambassador Akawor, GPH Administrator has said, “25 hectares of land have been acquired for the Automotive Centre where 5,000 shops are to be built.
National Automobile and Technical Association (NATA) and their consultant, Grand Support Engineering are excited as ground breaking ceremony is to be conducted by His Excellency, Nyesom Ezebunwo Wike CON, Governor, Rivers State.
All spare parts dealers in Port Harcourt are expected to move as soon as the market is completed bringing about decongestion and improved hygiene of the city.
